Dukieston Cottage is a detached stone cottage situated on the edge of this large rural estate in the Galloway hills approximately 4 miles north of St Johns Town of Dalry.

You will feel most welcome at Dukieston, set amidst the rugged and spectacular scenery of Galloway.

Forrest Estate, which extends to some 4,500 hectares lies on the edge of the largest wilderness area in Scotland, the Galloway Forest Park.

Nestling in its own clearing in the forest lies Dukieston cottage, a charming country cottage holding a warm, relaxing welcome at the end of a full day of activities ranging from Deer stalking, fishing on our 3 private hill lochs, hill walking, cycling and golf.

There is an abundance of wildlife from rabbits, red squirrels, deer and owls.

In such remote surroundings, you can allow yourself to unwind and enjoy what must be the ideal get away from it all holiday location.

Dogs are allowed to stay on the basis that a deposit of £25 is paid, this is refundable if the cottage is left in good order upon departure.
