VisitGlenkens.com web project
The GBA was approached by GBA members Tourism Doctor Limited with the idea of creating a destination portal to promote the Glenkens and help establish the Glenkens 'brand'. Although funds were very limited, the GBA formed an alliance with Tourism Doctor which resulted in VisitGlenkens.com, the first web portal dedicated to the online promotion of The Glenkens as a visitor destination and the first time a definitive 'list' of the attractions of the Glenkens has been attempted.
The GBA now has a platform from which to build the Glenkens 'brand' raising awareness of the unique nature of our area and encouraging tourism to create wealth for every business in the Glenkens.
